Hold on to your hat and brace yourself for a refreshing spray of sea air as your Zodiac takes off alongside harbour planes, cutting through our pristine waters in search of orcas and humpback whales. With a seasoned captain as your guide, you’re in safe hands.

This adventure is a 3 to 3.5 hour fully-guided whale watching & wildlife viewing tour departing from Downtown Victoria on a 12-passenger open-air Zodiac-style boat.

Check-in/Meeting Point:

Please check-in 30 minutes prior to departure time at Prince of Whales Whale Watching located below the Visitor Information Centre in the Inner Harbour (812 Wharf St, Victoria, BC V8W 1T3). The boat will not be held for late passengers. You do not need to print this email - we will have your name on our guest list for the adventure. Each passenger is required to sign a Release of Liability at check-in. Participants must be 19 years of age or require a parent or guardian to sign on their behalf. 

Important Information:

Zodiac vessels are not suitable for anyone with a history of serious medical conditions including but not limited to, back or neck injuries, recent surgery, and/or current or suspected pregnancy. There is also a minimum height restriction of 120 cm (4 ft) and minimum weight required is 23 kg (50 lbs) - this typically applies to children under 7 years old.

What to Bring:

We recommend windbreaker jackets, sweaters, long pants and closed-toe shoes be worn by all passengers for their comfort. Remember to also bring sunglasses, sunscreen, camera and a sense of adventure! Mustang Survival Suits, gloves & hats will be provided to guests upon check-in. Backpacks, purses and other personal belongings can be stored in secure lockers for the duration of the adventure. 

Whale Sighting Guarantee:

If you don't see any whales, you are welcome to join us for another tour. When you redeem your Whale Sightings Guarantee, the base fare/rate is complimentary. Fees and taxes still apply. Please note that these fees go directly towards our conservation and carbon offset programs; we are proud to be a leader in sustainable whale watching, and it would not be possible without the contributions and efforts from our wonderful guests (you!).
