A twist on a famous classic, our City and Wildlife tour is a 90-minute adventure departing from False Creek with stops near Stanley Park, the Lions Gate Bridge, English Bay, and along the shores of West Vancouver.

Get up close and personal with a seal colony near Lighthouse Park (Point Atkinson) and view bald eagles in their natural habitat. We will show you West Vancouver as you've never seen it before!

Departing from iconic Granville Island, this adventure will take you on a 90-minute tour out of False Creek in a 12 seater open-air Zodiac. You'll head around Stanley Park to the Lionsgate Bridge, English Bay then get up close and personal with a seal colony near Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver. 

This tour will show you Vancouver like you’ve never seen it before and allow you to see all kinds of beautiful local wildlife such as Seals, Bald Eagles, Porpoises and maybe even a humpback or orca whale if we’re lucky, as your captain and guide provides fascinating and entertaining commentary at each stop.

Notes & Restrictions

• Children must be at least 7 years of age, or 120 cm tall, in order to participate in this adventure.
• Please note that our mandatory flotation suits are suitable for individuals up to 350lbs
• We reserve the right to cancel this tour if there are fewer than 4 guests reserved at the time of the departure.

Check-in/Meeting Point:

Please check-in 30 minutes prior to departure time indicated above at Prince of Whales Adventure Centre on Granville Island in Vancouver (1666 Duranleau Street, Vancouver, BC). The adventure centre is located down the street from Kasandy Locally Global, across from Bridges Restaurant and has a whale statue in front of the office. The boat will not be held for late passengers. You do not need to print this email - we will have your name on our guest list for the adventure. Each passenger is required to sign a Release of Liability at check in. Participants must be 19 years of age or require a parent or guardian to sign on their behalf. The boat will not be held for late passengers.

Important Information:

Zodiac vessels are not suitable for anyone with a history of serious medical conditions including but not limited to, back or neck injuries, recent surgery, and/or current or suspected pregnancy. There is also a minimum height restriction of 120 cm (4 ft) and minimum weight required is 23 kg (50 lbs) - this typically applies to children under 7 years old.

What to Bring:

We recommend windbreaker jackets, sweaters, long pants and closed-toe shoes be worn by all passengers for their comfort. Remember to also bring sunglasses, sunscreen, camera and a sense of adventure! Mustang Survival Suits or lifejackets will be provided to guests upon check-in. Backpacks, purses and other personal belongings can be stored in secure lockers for the duration of the adventure.

Passengers are not allowed to smoke (cigarettes, vapes, cigars), or consume alchohol or drugs while on board our vessels.

This adventure has a hassle-free 48-hour cancellation policy. Just contact us at least 48 hours prior to your departure to cancel and receive a full refund.

For independent travel bookings of 9 passengers or less: 48 hours before scheduled departure, partial or whole cancellations made within 48 hours before departure will be charged 100% of the tour price. Tour amendments cannot be completed within a 48-hour window. There will be no refunds for cancellations within the cancellation period.

For groups of 10-19: 14 days before scheduled departure, partial or whole cancellations made within 14 days before departure will be charged 100% of the tour price based on the reserved number of passengers, or the final number in attendance, whichever is greater. Tour amendments cannot be guaranteed within a 14-day window.

For Groups 20+: 21 days before scheduled departure; partial or whole cancellations made within 21 days before departure will be charged 100% of the tour price. Tour amendments cannot be guaranteed within the 21-day window.

For wholesale, travel trade, and 3rd party bookings, the cancellation and amendment policy can differ. Please refer to your booking contract for details. no questions asked. Groups of 10+ guests are subject to a 72-hour cancellation policy. There will be no refunds for cancellations within the cancellation period.

We reserve the right to delay or cancel a departure if there are fewer than 20 guests reserved at the time of departure or in case of events beyond our control (adverse weather conditions, technical or mechanical issues etc.).
