This tour combines the Oak Alley Plantation Tour and the Swamp and Bayour Tour at a great discounted price. These tours must be taken on separate days due to the time needed to enjoy each one. 

Day One: Oak Alley Plantation Tour 

Explore what is probably Louisiana’s most famous and most photographed plantation home – Oak Alley. Oak Alley was built in 1839 and gets it name from the magnificent quarter mile long alley of 28 oak trees. Your tour includes a full guided tour of the home and transport to and from New Orleans. On the way you will pass Lake Pontchartrain and several other beautiful plantation homes. Tours start at 12.00 daily and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday also at 13.00. Tours last approximately four and half hours (including travel) with two and a half hours at Oak Alley. 

Day Two: Swamp and Bayou Tour 

After a short bus ride across the Mississippi River, take a fascinating boat trip into the Louisiana Swamps and Bayous. Experience the timeless beauty of South Louisiana in a custom built swamp boat. Native guides will reveal the mysteries of the swamps and bayous. Discover how the seafood from the bountiful waters provides a wide assortment of delectable local dishes and observe the nesting grounds of alligators, egrets, raccoons, nutria, and many species of snakes. Tours start at 10.45 and 12.45 daily and last approximately three and half hours - including travel. The cruise portion is approximately two hours.
