    This popular tour travels into the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park. It begins down in the Colorado River corridor, just outside Moab, and finishes high on the mesa top. The ancient culture of the Ancestral Puebloeans left evidence of their lives in the canyons. You will make stops to investigate their mysterious and beautiful rock art.


    On the trail, you will experience the famous Gooseneck overlook of the Colorado River, and travel a portion of the White Rim to Musselman Arch. You finish the tour by climbing the switchbacks of the Shafer Trail to the top of the Island in the Sky.

    Canyonlands National Park is a showcase of geology. This half day 4X4 tour offers an excellent opportunity to observe nearly the complete succession of rocks exposed in the Park. Throughout your tour experienced and knowledgeable guides provide you with information on Canyonlands and its natural history.
