Short and sweet, this half day adventure will give you a taste for Moab canyoneering! Adventure-loving travelers will enjoy hiking, rappelling, down-climbing, stemming, and in some cases wading or swimming.

Canyoneering in Moab Utah is a sport that’s become very popular. The water-filled pools, slot canyons, and overhanging mesas are ideal for a thrilling day trip.

Canyoneering is more than just a rappel; it's an active and physical sport where you use your whole body to make your way down a beautiful canyon. We take you to where very few have had the privilege to roam! No experience is needed just a sense of adventure!

Your canyoneering guides will give you a thorough instruction about important rappelling & down-climbing techniques. We supply the technical gear such as a harness, helmet and belay device.

Specific routes are chosen by the guide on the day of the tour based on clients and route conditions.

There are NO options to go around the rappels or return. Please be certain that you, your children, and all members of your group will be able to complete the rappels before booking.

Trip Details:

Your half-day Moab canyoneering trip departs at 8:00 AM, or 1:00 PM. Meet us at the NAVTEC Expedition office 15 minutes prior to your departure. We are located at 321 N. Main St. Moab, Utah. Pick-up from local hotels, motels, and campgrounds is also available upon advance request. Trips operate year round. All ground transportation is included. Reservations are recommended, certain trip minimums apply.

8:00 AM to 12:00 PM -- Morning tour

1:00 PM to 5:00 PM -- Afternoon tour

Cancellations made 24 hours or more prior to departure receive a full refund less a $10 per person cancellation fee.

A three passenger minimum is required for this tour to operate. If the minimum is not met you will be offered a different departure, the option to pay the third fare, or given a full refund.

We reserve the right to cancel or modify any trip. In such cases, we cannot be responsible for paying any expenses you may have incurred other than to refund monies due to you for tour price.
