With over 200 points of interest you can you make the tour as long or short as you want. Best of all, the adventure happens at your pace. You can stop for photos, take detours, grab a coffee or break for lunch. (You’ll actually be able to park!) Or you can blaze your own trail and explore the city streets, neighborhoods and parks on your own.
 
Let GoCar guide you through San Francisco’s culturally fascinating Chinatown, the iconic and lavish Downtown Union Square district, the historic North Beach neighborhood, and bustling Fisherman’s Wharf. This tour can be done in approximately one hour driving time and has several fun and informative detours if you want to extend the tour along the way to see things such as AT&T ball park, home of the San Francisco Giants. Finish your tour with a cruise along the Embarcadero, a beautiful waterfront boulevard created after the 1989 earthquake destroyed a two story freeway and as part of the beautification of the San Francisco waterfront it was never rebuilt. At the end of the tour, if you are having fun and want to stay out later feel free to continue on any or all of the tours listed below.

GoCar empowers you to create your own experience, therefore actual time to complete the route and its options may vary. The listed time on the tour route is an average based on normal traffic conditions. Other factors to consider when estimating travel time are the number of options taken, the number of stops made and the amount of time spent visiting landmarks. Major contruction projects and special events may create street closures and detours. Commute trafficcin the afternoons can be heavy on certain parts of the tour. We do our best to inform you at the time of rental of street and traffic issues associated with the tour routes so you can make informed decisions while out on tour. Additional time is billed in 1-minute increments. You may visit all or some of the tours highlights and customize your own adventure.

Tour departures begin at 9.00am and run every 15 minutes. Rental location close times vary by time of year. Please select either a morning or afternoon departure and we will endevour to book the first available time slot. all reservations are on request and will be confirmed within 72 hours.
 
 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • Each GoCar holds a maximum of 2 people. Prices are per GoCar - not per person
  • Customers must possess a major credit card and have a valid driver's license in your physical possession. Drivers must be 21 years of age or older. Passengers must be 4 years of age or older - and small children must safely fit into one of our DOT approved helmets.
  • All riders must complete a rental agreement, liability waiver and sign a standard participant agreement.
  • When rented, a $500 security deposit will be held on a credit card until the GoCar is returned. If a CDW or SLI coverage is selected, the security deposit is reduced to $150.
  • All reservations are for a Standard GoCar, which has a 50CC engine and will travel between 20mph - 25mph while on the flat sections of the tour route.
