Superbly colored and varied, views of these features are breathtaking from the ground but even more amazing to behold from the air. See the sites that surround the Colorado River on this scenic tour!

Depart Canyonlands Regional Airport and fly the beautiful Colorado River down the west side of Canyonlands National Park, getting a bird’s-eye view of the famous Cataract Canyon rapids. Continue on your adventure to see magnificent Lake Powell, including Rainbow Bridge National Monument, Tower Butte, the famous Hole-in-the-Rock Road crevice, Glen Canyon Dam, and on to the remarkable Horseshoe Bend. Take the perfect aerial photos as you follow the lake’s shoreline and canyon, soaring over Wahweap Marina and its hundreds of houseboats, Castle Rock, and Alstrom Point. The blue waters of this pristine lake set against the red rocks of Glen Canyon provide a stunning backdrop to any movie.

Lake Powell has over 2,000 miles of shoreline, which is more than the combined states on the Pacific Coast. After seeing the north and south shorelines, we follow the Colorado River towards Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse State Park. Beautiful areas in and around this special state park include: Thelma and Louise Point, Potash Evaporation Ponds, and The Moab Fault.
